• Letters, numbers, & speech - the essentials for learning & development begin in pre-K. 
• Hudson Guild is required to privately pay for 2 of every 5 Head Start students.
• Early education must continue no matter what!

Supports Hudson Guild’s Teen Programming.

• More teens & young adults will advance their education, careers, & path to adulthood. 
• Our teen services program provides services such as college preparation, internships, podcasting, sports, music, & technology. 
• Funding for staff & activities is key to making this happen and $5,000 will help add new activities such as SAT & other test preparation, dance classes, college trips, & more.

Funds engagement for Older Adults that build community & prevent social isolation.

• Each day, Hudson Guild’s centers are buzzing with activities such as pottery, painting, tai chi, dance, & chair yoga, and classes like cooking, nutrition, poetry, & storytelling.
• Help to promote the physical & mental health of seniors. 
• Promote nutrition, engagement, & social connection for older adults in our community.

Provides Employment Support to members of the Hudson Guild Community.

• Helps fund a staff member to match our community members with meaningful jobs.
• Provides Hudson Guild participants with resume building & interview skills workshops, clothing for interviews, skills development, & job placement.
• Matches residents with jobs that provide benefits & career promotion opportunities.
• Helps with the ongoing support of participants once they are working.

Helps to send a child to Summer Camp for free.

• Children in Hudson Guild’s free summer camp will attend two trips a week to places like the zoo, the aquarium, water parks, & museums.
• They will be learning all summer to prevent academic slide & participate in hands-on STEM and Arts activities with volunteers like the employees at BlackRock.
• Summer camp keeps kids safe, engaged, & learning - & makes the summer magical and fun!

Funds Urgent Community Needs.

• Helps to meet the tangible needs of our community members & allows Hudson Guild to respond when emergencies arise.

• Provides warm winter coats to children & entire families.
• Donates Back to School supplies to youth of all ages.
• Gives healthy food to a neighbor experiencing a life transition
• Hudson Guild’s Community Building program offers emergency support & helps the neighborhood thrive.
