We are very excited to announce that Hudson Guild's Community Art Jam will be resuming in person on June 2 for the first time in three years. Please review the announcement above that includes instructions on how to enter. This exhibit is open to any artists of all ages who are interested in showing their work in the Hudson Guild Gallery.
This June, Hudson Guild community members ages 16 and older are invited to transform your stories into a performance with students from The New School. Working with theatre artists and musicians, you’ll share your oral histories and collaborate to create a performance to share with the Guild community.
A young woman born in New York City travels to Puerto Rico for the first time to meet her family and to discover her roots. Her misconceptions are transformed and she learns that being Puerto Rican is a matter of heart and spirit.
This free performance will be performed in Spanish with English translation at Hudson Guild Fulton Community Center on Thursday, June 9th, 2022.
