Community Space

The Guild is the place where groups meet, families celebrate, and artists perform in Chelsea. Club meetings, self-help sessions, anniversary parties, baby showers and retreats, among others, are all held regularly in the Guild’s facilities. Senior Social Action Committee’s (SSAC)

The SSAC's main goals are to educate older adults about social and political issues and provide them with ways to affect change in their own lives and in their community. Activities include letter-writing campaigns to elected officials, voter registration drives, educational forums, trips to Albany and demonstrations at City Hall.
