Hudson Guild Board of Trustees Elect New Board President and Members

HUDSON GUILD ELECTS NEW BOARD OF TRUSTEE PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS

(July 14, 2020) —The Hudson Guild Board of Trustees announced today that it has elected David Ellen as its new Board President. Ellen, who is Senior Executive Vice President for Charter Communications, succeeds Arthur H. Aufses III who served as President for more than a decade. In addition, Board Member Anna Levin, who currently serves on the NYC Planning Commission, will serve as the Board’s new Secretary. Two other members were also recently elected to the Board: Robbin Mitchell, Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group and Bill Tomlin, a finance professional most recently with Morgan Stanley.

Hudson Guild’s Executive Director Ken Jockers said of the announcement, “We are proud to have David serve as our new Board President. He brings an outstanding breadth of experience and cares passionately about the communities we serve, evident in his commitment to the Guild over the past 15 years.” Mr. Jockers continued, “We are also excited for Anna to take on a new role and to have Bill and Robbin, two outstanding professionals join the Guild family and look forward to working with them in the coming years.”

As Senior Executive Vice President at Charter Communications, Ellen oversees several business and corporate functions. He joined Charter from Cablevision Systems Corporation, where he served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel and before that, held senior legal positions at other companies including IAC, the multi-brand media and Internet company. He received his B.A. from Harvard College and his law degree from Harvard Law School, where he was President of the Harvard Law Review.

Ellen has served on the Hudson Guild Board since 2005 and was elected Board Secretary in 2009, a position he held until being elected President.
