We are pleased to invite you to join us in supporting Hudson Guild’s 14th Annual Benefit on Tuesday, May 13. This year, we are thrilled to honor BlackRock for their commitment and active participation in our programming and growth since moving to Hudson Yards in 2023. We are delighted that Claire Chamberlain, Global Head of Social Impact and the President of The BlackRock Foundation, will be accepting the award.
Each year the benefit raises critical funds that enable us to offer free and low-cost programs that support 16,000 of our neighbors each year with education, food, job preparation, and counseling programs.
To purchase tickets to attend, to view sponsorship levels, & to support this year’s event, visit www.hudsonguild.org/benefit.
Don't miss The Furies -- Hudson Guild Theatre Company's new adaptation of a Greek trilogy -- now told in one fast moving act. Jim Furlong directs a cast of 14, with the Company's dream team of designers - Yizhu Pan (sets), Dan Wang (costumes), Megan L Peti (lights), and Gary McStea (sound).

In February, Hudson Guild participated in UNH’s Settlement House Lobby Day in Albany. Over two days, alongside 55 staff members from 31 settlement houses, we lobbied for settlement house priorities including funding for the Settlement House Program, expansion of funding for after school programs, and cost of living adjustments for the settlement house workforce. We had the opportunity to meet with 61 elected officials including local Chelsea representatives Senator Brad Hoylman-Sigal and Assembly Member Tony Simone to discuss support of settlement house funding.
On March 7th, a group of Amazon volunteers visited the Guild's Children Center. As part of the children’s current curriculum on buildings, the volunteers read stories and guided the kids in creating a city skyline craft. This event was organized by Hudson Guild Jr. Board member Carlie Yaroscak, with 11 dedicated team members joining in to help.
On March 20th, volunteers from Google Cloud’s division of woman leaders led a coding activity for girls in Hudson Guild's after school program. Their efforts are instrumental in providing young girls with the opportunity to explore technology, inspiring them to pursue their passions and future careers.
These initiatives are perfect examples of how community partnerships are empowering the next generation. To get involved and become a partner, email ssundeberg@hudsonguild.org.
On March 8, our Teen and Young Adult Services program took to the court for an exciting exhibition basketball game against the WBLS Radio Sure Shots at the Elliott Center gym. The event was a huge success, bringing together the community for a night of thrilling sportsmanship and camaraderie.
Teen and young adult participants have been putting in countless hours of practice, and it was incredible to see them showcase their skills in such a fun and competitive atmosphere. This event not only highlighted the talent and hard work of our youth, but it also created a meaningful opportunity for them to engage with the community.
