Ways to Give This Holiday Season

unnamed_(7).jpg

The Holiday season is here and we want to make it special for everyone in the community! We have many opportunities for Hudson Guild supporters to get involved and help spread holiday cheer this season, including our annual Toy Drive, Winter Warmth Drive, Holiday Pop-Up Shop, & Adopt-A-Family program.

Our annual Amazon Wishlist is live, filled with a variety of pre-selected toys and gifts. Items ordered through the wish list will be delivered directly to Hudson Guild for distribution during our Holiday Pop-Up Shop, an event where non-perishable foods, clothing, gifts, & more will be given out for free to families and individuals in the community. This year's Holiday Pop-Up Shop will be held on December 14th, 15th, & 16th at the Elliott Center from 1:00pm - 6:30pm.

This winter, Hudson Guild's Junior Advisory Board is aiming to raise funds to help keep NYC families warm. With the funds raised, we will purchase brand new winter coats, hats, mittens, and scarves to distribute to Hudson Guild participants who need them. To donate to this year's Winter Warmth Drive, CLICK HERE.

Through our Adopt-A-Family program, you can help children and families meet their needs and wishes this December. Get involved by providing for an entire family, donating non-perishable foods, clothing, & gifts, or making a donation at hudsonguild.org/donate. For more information on how to help out with our Adopt-A-Family program, contact dmendoza@hudsonguild.org.

As always, donations can be made on our website at hudsonguild.org/donate where you can make a one-time or recurring donation as well as select which one of our programs you would like to support. Thank you for helping us give back.

Giving Thanks

This past November we held joyous celebrations at our Centers to celebrate Thanksgiving. At each of our Early Childhood Education centers, participants, joined by their families and loved ones, enjoyed a festive meal together. Filling the Wayans Family Community Room at our Fulton Center, we held two celebrations where individuals, families, older adult participants, and community members gathered and enjoyed delicious food and danced to lively music. A big thanks to all of the volunteers, sponsors, and supporters including those from Avenues The World School, MSD Capital, Salesforce, and Tech:NYC for helping make these events happen.

Celebrating Community

On December 6th we held our 66th Annual Dr. Elliott Celebration. From the dancing and laughs to the award ceremonies and speeches, it was a memorable night honoring Karina Elias, Marc Cruz, The Dream Center, and Assembly Member Richard N. Gottfried. CLICK HERE to view photos and videos from the evening. If you were not able to join us in person, CLICK HERE to meet and learn more about each of this year's honorees.
