On February 2nd, interns from Five Rings volunteered at the Elliott Center with the after school program to lead an engaging S.T.E.M. activity! As an exercise to build on hands-on skills, imagination, and cognitive performance, the kids took time assembling functioning toy bulldozers and other vehicles with the support of the terrific volunteers.

In January, volunteers from Pfizer visited our Children's Center for fun winter-themed arts and crafts! The kids had so much fun decorating their gloves and mittens and especially loved the festive books the volunteers read to them.

UnHomeless NYC

UnHomeless NYC is an exhibition and a series of events examining ideas about solutions to the housing crisis in New York City. The exhibit is now open through April 3, 2024 at Hudson Guild Gallery, 441 West 26th Street.

UnHomeless NYC brings together socially engaged artists, activists, policy entrepreneurs, and displaced individuals to confront popular notions of home and how all humans have the right to shelter, security, and structural equality. The full list of events happening in correlation to the show can be found at hudsonguild.org/events.

UnHomeless NYC is co-curated by Maureen Connor, Jason Leggett, Tommy Mintz, Robert Robinson, and Midori Yamamura.
