Taking a look back at 2022, we continued our bedrock programming - early child education, youth development & education, older adult services, community, building, mental health counseling, and arts - but we also expanded to meet emerging needs by adding:

► A new full-time technology instructor in our older adult center
► A new full-time employment specialist to help community members find and keep jobs
► Training for our mental health staff to identify and treat new challenges arising from the pandemic
► New emergency cash grants to community members who documented real economic distress

These were just a few examples of initiatives we established in the past year and look forward to continue offering our community in the year to come.

A Festive Holiday Season

Untitled_design_(40).png

In December, community members and older adult participants and their families gathered in the Wayans Family Community Room to enjoy a Holiday meal together. During the month, we also held our annual Holiday Pop-Up Shops and our Adopt-A-Family program which fulfilled the holiday wishes of hundreds of families and individuals in the community.
