In June, Early Childhood Education program participants completed another year of incredible achievements and outstanding hard work! Hudson Guild Early Childhood Centers, Amsterdam Center, Clinton Center, Elliott Center, and Polly Dodge Center held in-person and virtual step-up ceremonies to celebrate with the families and loved ones of the 2-year-olds, 3-K, and Pre-K classes. During the ceremonies, the teachers gave speeches congratulating the children and thanking the parents, and the children performed songs, shared their future career goals, and received certificates. A special thanks to all the amazing teachers at Hudson Guild for their constant support and dedication to the children!
Over 200 volunteers from Tapestry came to the Elliott Center in June to build 150 bikes for our Early Childhood Education program participants! The bikes will be distributed as gifts to the participants following their step-up ceremonies at all the Hudson Guild Early Childhood Education sites.
A special thanks to all the Tapestry volunteers, including employees from the Coach, Kate Spade, & Stuart Weitzman brands, for helping us give back to the families we serve!
