Whoopi Goldberg Returns to the Guild

4-0003.png

Whoopi Goldberg returned to Hudson Guild recently to relive past memories and catch up with old friends!

Whoopi toured our Elliott Center to check out the gallery space and theatre, reminisced as she spotted the building she grew up in, and visited our Children’s Center to see a plaque hung up in honor of her mother, Emma Johnson, who was once an Early Childhood Education teacher here at Hudson Guild.

Lunar New Year Celebration

We rang in the Lunar New Year in February at our Elliott and Fulton Community Centers with delicious food, arts and crafts, and festive music! Thanks to the volunteers from Pfizer for celebrating with us.

Feeling the Love at Hudson Guild

2-0014.png

This Valentine’s Day, participants at our Elliott, Amsterdam, and Fulton Community Centers spent the day celebrating their friendships with one another.

Participants at Fulton came dressed in their pajamas and enjoyed a Valentine’s Day brunch together. Kids at Amsterdam Center wore their heart-headbands and celebrated with Valentine’s Day-inspired arts and crafts. Students at Elliott Center made bracelets and cards for their parents, friends, and siblings!

During winter break, After School participants got into the spirit with different dress-up days with their friends and siblings, which included a “Pajama Day”, “Twin Day”, “Inside-out Day”, and “Wacky-Tacky Day”.
