12th Annual Benefit

1_copy.png

On April 18th, we held our 12th Annual Benefit, an evening where we celebrate our work, highlight the work of our dedicated partners, and raise funds to support our programs.

This year we honored our long-time supporters and friends at Pfizer, heard from Quanisha Bennett, Hudson Guild's Social Worker Supervisor, about her inspiring Hudson Guild journey, and raised just about $1,000,000! A special thanks to all those who were able to attend and to all those who donated before, during, and after the event.

Watch this year's benefit video to hear from a few of our beloved participants, partners, & employees about the energy and liveliness around our centers as new programs, faces, and opportunities are being brought to the Guild. View photos from the evening here.

Uncle Vanya

At the end of April we wrapped up our sold out performances of Hudson Guild Theatre Company's latest production, Uncle Vanya! In this new adaptation directed by Hudson Guild Director of Arts, Jim Furlong, audience members moved to different spaces throughout the Fulton Community Center to enjoy the show.

A special thanks to the cast, crew, and everyone else who had a part in making this happen, including Dan Wang, Megan L. Peti, Gary McStea, Francine Brown, Nadine Kela-Murphy, Theresa Kwechin, and the cast, including Michael Donaldson, Manuel Estevez, Tim Haugh, Tony Lentini, Patricia Lewis, Tasha Partee, Thelma Ruffin Thomas, and Stacey Wright!

PVH & After School

On April 18th, employees from PVH visited the Elliott Center for a fun day of dodgeball, obstacle course races, & basketball with our K-8 youth participants! The following day PVH returned, joined by students from the Fashion Insititue of Technology for an afternoon filled with all kinds of arts & crafts.
