Paint Moves by Cindy Bernier

Artist Cindy Bernier will help generate funds for Hudson Guild during the month of October. From October 4th-29th, Cindy Bernier’s paintings will be on view during her solo show, PAINT MOVES at Pictor Gallery, 547 West 27th Street, New York City. Her large, abstract paintings are an ongoing celebration of her dancing. Cindy will donate 50% of the sales from her paintings on exhibit there, as well as sales from her website, cindybernierart.com, to help support our programs.

An opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Thursday, October 6th from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Pictor Gallery.

Tapestry Volunteer Event

On September 15th, over 100 volunteers from Tapestry came by the Children’s Center to make sure its exterior was ready to welcome participants into the new school year. The Children’s Center front garden was cleaned up and mulched, the benches and playground got a fresh coat of paint. Volunteers also read and did art activities with a couple of our Early Childhood Education classes.

Thanks to the volunteers from Tapestry, whose brands include Coach, Kate Spade, and Stuart Weitzman for their hard work.
