Celebrating National Senior Center Month

On September 22, participants celebrated our Fulton Community Center for National Senior Center Month. The festivities included a lunch, talent show, and award ceremony. National Senior Center Month celebrates senior centers nationwide which helps strengthen community connections and promote a positive image of aging. Awards were given out to recognize the following staff members and participants for their dedication to our center:

Tapestry Volunteer Event

On September 15th, over 100 volunteers from Tapestry came by the Children’s Center to make sure its exterior was ready to welcome participants into the new school year. The Children’s Center front garden was cleaned up and mulched, the benches and playground got a fresh coat of paint. Volunteers also read and did art activities with a couple of our Early Childhood Education classes.

Thanks to the volunteers from Tapestry, whose brands include Coach, Kate Spade, and Stuart Weitzman for their hard work.
