Hope to see you there for this year's free Community Haunted House! Doors will open on Saturday, October 21st at 6:00 PM as the Elliott Center will be transformed into a spooky haunted house for all ages!

Second Acts

1-0006.png

On October 6th and 7th, we held Second Acts: Senior Talents Showcased, a talent show performed by older adults from our community. It was amazing seeing the talents of so many community members as they performed songs, dances, a traditional sword act, and more!

With the performances of Second Acts: Senior Talents Showcased, we also welcomed the opening of a new art show at Hudson Guild Gallery, both curated by Director of Arts, Jim Furlong. The exhibit will be shown through November 20th and features artwork from 75+ different older-adult-artists from our community. The artwork ranges from photography to paintings, sculptures, and more.

PVH Volunteers

Earlier this month, volunteers from PVH came to the Elliott Center for a craft activity with After School participants. Using scraps of fabrics, they cut and styled outfits as they discussed the importance of recycling and reducing waste. Thanks to our friends from PVH for facilitating another fun and educational lesson for our participants.
